Quick Solutions for a Smooth Fill

  • The Pre-Wet Method: For the most seamless experience, flush the barrel with water before inking. This creates a microscopic film that helps the ink glide past the reservoir walls.

 

  • The Eyedropper Pump: While filling, use your eyedropper to gently "pump" the ink at the opening. This small amount of agitation breaks the surface tension, allowing the ink to settle.

 

  • The Gentle Flick: If ink is caught in the narrow section tube, a quick, gentle flick of the wrist will break the air lock and move the ink toward the feed.
